The idea and need of recycling and reusing each drop of water has lead IWTech to develop special products and one of them is “Ciyara-Saaf” to treat and recycle wastewater from the vehicle wash units.

The vehicle wash wastewater is generally a neglected area but high in quantity. It consists of Oil, grease and SS (Suspended Solids). This water is generally discharged away untreated into the nearby discharge network or open fields. In mines, there are special vehicles used to carry material from places and these vehicles are regularly washed. We have developed “Ciyara-Saaf” for these vehicle wash recycles in particular. The applications can be expanded to car wash or any other vehicle wash.

Designed considering the mining vehicle wash wastewater. Will be useful to recycle the carwash water as well.

Features

  • The unit is movable and can be shifted from one place to another.
  • A 20 KLD unit fits in a 4m(L) X 2.4m(W) space and a 50 KLD unit fits in a 6m(L) X 2.4m(W) space.
  • No special consumables except for the normal and easily available coagulant and flocculant are needed

  • Wastewater Collection in Eq Tank with Screening.
  • Oil Removal System/ Equipment.
  • Chemical Dosing – Alumn / Alkali / Polymer.
  • Ciyara-Saaf tank with media.

Mining Vehicle

Wastewater from mining vehicle wash consists of:
  1. Heavy amounts of TSS (2000 ppm).
  2. Oil: 30 to 40 ppm.
  3. Grease: 5 ppm.

Chemical Consumption

  • Alum: 5 to 10 ppm (1.2 to 2 lit per day, 8% conc & 1.33 Sp gravity)
  • NaOH: 1 ppm (1 lit per day max)
  • Polymer: 0.1 to 0.2 ppm (1 kg/day)

Power Consumption

  • 30 to 35 kwhr/day for 20 KLD Unit.

Target Market:

  1. Government and semi governement industries like MOIL, Coal (India) Ltd.etc.
  2. Large scale Vehicle service stations.
  3. Railways and bus service stations.
